With the world moving toward online and remote working processes in lieu of long audition days and in-person presentations, we prepare our students for long-term success by giving them the materials and skills they need to succeed in an industry influenced by constant change. Our students see great success with the distribution of their voice reels, both in terms of response from casting agencies, directors, producers, and other industry professionals. In a field where it is the intelligent, imaginative, and adaptable who succeed, Texas State BFA Acting aims to meet the highest standard of excellence in preparing its students for long-term achievement.

A voice reel is a portfolio of acting work produced without an accompanying image, with the intent to be sent to casting and industry professionals as a convenient and practical tool to present one’s skills. Instrumental in securing roles at any stage in a professional actor’s career, Texas State BFA Acting has recently begun incorporating voice reels as a part of its graduating seniors’ portfolios in an effort to to stay current with demands for modern actors.
